The Senator Representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has fulfilled promises made to young master Onawu Thomas Enefe and his family earlier today.
Thomas who just finished his primary school education, hails from Ukelle, Yala LGA, was seen hawking avocado fruit in Ogoja, and answering every question thrown at him with the name of the Senator. This caught the attention of the lawmaker and other well meaning personalities and the Senator immediately opted to sponsor him through school and to support Thomas’ mother with the sum of two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) to aid her business.
The Senator has fulfilled his promises by sending the sum of N200,000 to Thomas’ mother and clearing Thomas’ school fees. He spoke on the phone with Thomas and his mother, assured them of his continous support for the family.
The fund was presented to the family by Barr. Paul Ishabor (Director General, Reclaim Cross River Group), on be half of the Senator.
