I believe our community can be transformed into greatness. Yala 1 constituency should be the pride of cross river state and a role model for all constituency through the state and nation wide.

A state like cross river with a robust economy, where prosperity is broadly shared by all irrespective of class,
region, and religion

Now we have a vibrant and thriving democracy and a prosperous nation with a fast-growing industrial base,capable of producing the most basic needs of the people and exporting to other state and countries of the world.

MY VISION FOR YALA 1 CONSTITUENCY

FOR A BETTER COMMUNITY

I know my mandate is to support and push for policies and laws that protects and provide for my people, but as long I represnt my people within the government institution,
it is my duty to ensure all basic infrastructure and well developed livelihood
is provided for my people. I will not stop by asking, I will look for partners and support to implement with the government on our side.
I want to work for a yala1 constituency, a community where her people will enjoy all the basic needs including a safe and secure environment. Abundant food affordable shelter, health care and quality primary
education for all. This is my vision for the people of Yala 1 constituency. A community founded on justice peace and prosperity for all.

MY ACTIONABLE MANIFESTO

This manifesto outlines an actionable social contract with the people, i do not
intend to go in alone i need the people’s concent and active participation, I at
this moment outline my pledge for a new yala, a prosperous yala, a community where it’s people live a decent life and enjoy a modest standard in a secured, safe and serene
environment. All this I intend to achive through a honest contract with my people.

ECONOMY

1. The centerpiece of my fiscal and economic policy
   is to optimize economic growth and bring more
   employment to my fellow youth, brothers and sisters, even mother.
2. I will focus on stimulating jobs by creating economic activities, which will be my top priority as your representative. I will get Yala 1 Constituency to work by launching a major public works program, a significant and heavy investment in our everyday infrastructure, and value-adding manufacturing
   and agriculture, because these things are all here
   already, we just have to make sure they work by
   bringing in those people who need what we have, who sees value in what we grow, what we feed on and the lives we live.
3. My administration will build an efficient, fast growing, and well-diversified emerging economy with a real GDP growth annually for the next four years, translating into millions of new jobs.
4. In support of my job creation initiative, I will push for a new Policy that will focus on special intervention to reinvigorate specific strategic industries. These
   include Textiles, agro product, Oil, cassava, mining, food processing, information technology, and other areas with abundant raw materials and apparent
   competitive advantage.

These have the potential to generate millions of new jobs in the next four years, create a new set of entrepreneurs, and usher in new industries and new knowledge-based enterprises.

Information Technology, Entertainment, Music,
and Tourism are new Key Drivers of the economy with special vehicles and funding
mechanisms. I will introduce new industrial growth
partnership with the center and on a National scale, invite great investor friends, international collaboration that can make great changes in our community.

I will promote innovation and creativity through heavy investment in research, development, science, and technology.

AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY

There will be a renewed focus on agriculture and
food security by formulating a new strategy on farming to boost food production.
My representation will stregnthen the new yala
and the state commodity exchange board that promotes the establishment of new farm produce of strategic agricultural produce like cotton, rice
soybeans corn palm kernel, ogbono, cassava, yam, planting of tress and groundnut thereby, guaranteeing maximum pricing for all this cash product boosting productivity and enhancing
average farm income and growth in our rural economy.

1. I will promote the creation of a new set of young
   agric-entrepreneurs by encouraging and
   supporting young school leavers to take into
   agriculture after undergoing our vocational
   training which we will organize by inviting
   achievers in these field that we have as friends
   across the nation.
2. I will collaborate with State governments to expand extension services and provide technical
   support for farmers on mechanization and modern farming techniques. The goal is to modernize agriculture and agro-allied
   businesses and gradually move Yala 1 constituency away from subsistence farming to small and medium-sized commercial farming and production.

INFRASTRUCTURE

1. My representation will develop an Infrastructure
   partnership that can Plan for the local community covering strategic and integrated roads, bridges, rail, water, power, spanning the length and breadth of Yala, our friends in diaporal have new technology that aid in road and infrastructural building that can enable constant light without looking at the center for help, build roads as CSR without touching government money, build schools as part of support for our people. Who says we cannot do it alone?
2. As part of our strategy, We will initiate a medium
   to long-term infrastructure financing model which combines funding from internal sources, borrowings, the PPP model, and strictly private sector financing and concession. We can
   achieve anything without been greedy.

EDUCATION

We will be fully committed to overhauling the primary education sector and making a significant impact in primary education as a
matter of priority. We will undertake a comprehensive reform of the schools in our
community, building and reforblishing schools
shouldn’t be hard. We will create policies that will make the state government double education spending over the next four years.

2. Our children complete primary and secondary schools every year but cannot get admission to universities. We will provide free training and seminars for our unemployed youths in acquiring the basic skill set necessary to be engaged in the new infrasturctral plan outlined above.
3. I will initiate a new creative means of funding
   schools by making policies that will push the state
   to granting schools the financial autonomy to
   exploring new source of financing through grants,
   corporate sponsorship act.
4. My representation will collaborate with all educational sectors stakeholders, students
   parents, the academic community, relevant
   unions and the government.

HEALTHCARE

1.My representation will focus on improving the primary health care infrastructure by collaborating with States and Local Governments to create a new network of local clinics and dispensaries providing primary health care and drugs for our people.

2. We will push to increase the proportion of the annual budget dedicated to health care from 6.5% presently to over 10% lots of international collaboration.
3. I will embark on special programs to upgrade the quality of all Government Hospitals to world class standards, who says we cannot raise funds to buy more beds, or transfer tax and business profit to getting more quality need in our hospitals?
4. I will revive and relaunch the National Health Insurance Scheme for our aged fathers and mothers to ensure that it takes off smoothly, and provide health insurance cover for more people.

These things cost less than N1000, we will provide this for our parents to enjoy good health.

TACKLING POVERTY

1. My immediate goal is to provide for all families the
   basic needs of life at the minimum, including affordable housing, food security, quality primary
   education and healthcare for all, and a conducive and safe living environment. I will make the complete eradication of poverty a significant priority of my representation.
2. My strategy is to first get as many youth as possible
   to work and to earn decent wages. The job creation
   initiatives highlighted above will all combine to create an unprecedented number of new jobs, which will absorb hundreds of young people, the middle-aged, and women and pull them out of poverty towards a path of prosperity.
3. For the vulnerable, I will immediately start a Social
   Welfare Scheme with Direct Monthly Cash Payments to about 20 vulnerable families. These include
   Pregnant Women, unemployed Mothers of School age children under 18 years, senior Citizens over 65yrs and the disabled, armed services veterans who meet set guidelines under a “Social Insurance
   Contract with Vulnerable Nigerians which the federal government have setup and such application will be assisted to help these vulnerable ones to gain same.

SUPPORT FOR MICRO AND SMALL BUSINESSES

I will collaborate with the state, microfinance banks, SMEDAN, and the Bank of Industry to establish a special intervention fund and put a Small Business Loan Guarantee Scheme for
micro and small businesses to bridge existing funding gaps. This is to stimulate growth for the hundreds of micro and small enterprises
operating all over our community and for each to employ an average of one additional person.

HOUSING

1. As part of my immediate plan and goal of shelter for all our people, I will vigorously work towards bridging the housing gap by
   embarking on a mass housing strategy.
2. As part of the mass housing strategy, we will
   collaborate with state private investors to initiate what we call JOint Venture initiative,
   the building and construction industry, private sector investors, and banks to build and sell over 500 new homes within the next four years. We will work with the national mortgage system that will lend at single-digit interest rates to purchase these owner occupied homes.
3. A seed fund will support the National Mortgage System to ensure that new
   homeowners will enjoy single-digit interest rates for between 15-30 years when they purchase owner-occupied homes.

KEEP YALA 1 CONSTITUENCY SAFE & SECURED

I As long as we can achieve all we have stated above, by providing food, house, businesses, good health, and engaging of our youth in economic activities including training some of them as security agencies and personnel’s we believe it will reduce crime in our community. Everyone will be
responsible for reporting cases of crime and we will only support the security agency by providing useful information channels, easy access and support to enable them do their work efficiently. By this alone we will achieve greatly in a safe and secured Yala.
