A personal donation of N2million Naira has been made by Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe for the ongoing building project at Christ the King Catholic Church Okpoma, Yala LGA of Cross River State.
Senator Jarigbe who was represented by Mr. Elijah Okache, Chapter Chairman of the PDP in Yala LGA made the donation during the launching of the Church Roofing Project earlier today.
He appreciated the clerics and the people for their continuous love and unity, highlighting the fact that the church is a holy place of prayers and worship which should always be conducive and neat. According to him,his donation is in appreciation to God for his continuous blessings and protection his family has enjoyed.
In the same vein, the PDP candidate for Ogoja/Yala Federal constituency, Barr. Godwin Offiono made a cash donation of N100,000 while the Chapter Chairman, Mr. Elijah Okache supported the duo with the sum of N30,000.
Mr Okache was accompanied by; Mr. Alfred Otogor, Hon. Sylvanus Akrah Okache, Hon Augustine Otubala Omachi, Mr. Joseph Unyi, other party faithfuls of Okpoma and O’oh wards respectively.
Receiving the donations, the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Michael Asim thanked the team for their generosity towards the church and the entire parish. He prayed to God to grants their respective intentions and see them through all their political and life adventures.
