As the build up to the 2023 general election campaigns and other key activities begins, the leader of Mbube East and BoT Chairman of Reclaim Cross River Support Group, Mr John George met with the elders and critical stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the four (4) wards of Mbube in Ogoja LGA of Cross River State.
The meeting which had in attendance, stakeholders, party leaders and members of the party saw representatives of the 4 political wards of Mbube at the venue.
Addressing the leaders, Mr John George noted that the meeting became necessary in view of the tension the defection of few party men is already eliciting, adding that the end of the meeting would further unite the party in the area than before.
He said “ we had to call this meeting for us to interact and interface. We are here basically for us to ensure that our communities are all in unity. It is very important because our unity of purpose and determination will conquer every other challenges that we may encounter in the process.
Commenting on the development, Chief Arase Abue enjoined the people of Mbube to be resolute and firm in their support for the PDP. According to him, the APC has inflicted pains and suffering on our people and as such, deserves no place in the next year’s general elections.
Also at the meeting was the DG of Reclaim across River Support Group, Barr. Paul Ishabor, Mr. Aboka Agbe, Hon. Simon Ogeh, Dr. Anayo Mgbe, Chapter and ward executives of the party and many others.
