To further prove his resoluteness on reclaiming Cross River State and dedication to the welfare of the people regardless of social status, Prof Sandy Ojang Onor visited the scene of Marian market Fire accident which occured on the 31st of August, 2022 with goods worth millions of naira destroyed and some of the victims injured.
Senator Sandy and Member representing Calabar Municipal/Odukpani, Hon. Eta Mbora commiserated with the victims who were at the scene with burns resulting from the accident while they made efforts to save their wares. Sen. Sandy emphasized that government must be swift in response to issues like this and assured them of better days as he made cash donations to the victims.
Overwhelmed with excitement, the traders thanked him and commended his show of leadership and kindness towards them and assured him of their unflinching support.
