A sociopolitical group with membership across the three political wards of Utugwang (Utugwang North,Central and South), U4J Support Group has declared her support for the Cross River North Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe ahead of the 2023 general elections in Cross River North.
The group said the support for the senator was due to the burden of the deplorable state of governance and its negative resultant effects on the welfare of the good people of Utugwang in Obudu LGA of Cross River State.
One of her leaders, Dr. Uti also made available a campaign office for the federal lawmaker who was represented by the Constituency Officer, Mr Egar Mgbantul who also commissioned the campaign office and formally received defectors in the area on behalf of the Senator.
In the same vein, Cross River North Entertainers Forum (CRNE) visited Barr. Idi Yakubu and formally declared her support for the candidacy of Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe in his Ogoja residence. The group said the lawmaker is a lover of youth and progress and as such, deserves the support of every well meaning youths in the Senatorial District.
They further expressed hope that Jarigbe’s candidacy and emergence as Senator for a complete tenure will birth a new Cross River North for the good of the people.
