The Ice Fish Sellers Association, Okuku-Yala LGA, today declared their unflinching support for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The group who took cognizance of the laudable performances of PDP courtesy of Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe (Senator Representing Cross River North Senatorial District), decided to support and mobilize other voters to vote for all candidates of PDP from Presidency to State House of Assembly and even in LG elections.
Speaking during the declaration, the Association’s Chairman, Mr. Odey Itor said, the group decided to support because of the glaring performances of Sen. Jarigbe and Barr. Godwin Offiono’s humility and love for the people. “We’ve seen street lights, boreholes, roads being constructed, Medical equipment being distributed to our hospitals, schools being built, and lot of other projects by PDP. Whereas, APC is known for lying and nothing has been done by them. It is only wise to support PDP to win the 2023 general elections in order to do more. We will continue to mobilize our members across Yala LGA to vote for all PDP Candidates in the 2023 General elections.”- Mr. Itor said.
