The Executive Chairman, Bekwarra Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Emeka Josephat Owan yesterday unveiled and commissioned the “Unbeatable Ayade Multi-purpose Hall” Abuochiche. The well furnished Hall includes an office, a dressing room, a store, two rest rooms with water system and a borehole.
The Hall which is one of the very many projects executed by the administration of Dr Emeka was officially commissioned for use by the Chairman of Obudu Local Government Area, Hon. Boniface Eraye. Speaking at the event, Hon. Eraye Applauded his Bekwarra counterpart for puting up such a beautiful edifice. He further reiterated that he is unveiling the Multi-purpose Hall, believing that it will serve its purpose for the good of Bekwarra and mankind in general.
In commendation of the achievement of the Charmain, The Chapter Chairman of APC in Bekwarra, Comrade Odama Thomas Odama said that he was pleased with the visibility and voice this project initiated and completed by Dr. Emeka has brought to the party in Bekwarra, as it is one of the legacies they can always point to and that its strategic location, in the heart of Abuochiche is indeed worth a great deal of appreciation.
The Clan Head of Abuochiche, Chief Mathias Obogo who spoke in appreciation of the Chairman said “I have never seen a man that is down to earth and ever ready to work like Dr. Emeka, His humility and quest to do more for his people baffles me a lot. He is indeed a good man”.
The Chairman,speaking at the occasion appreciated the support of the Vice Chairman, Council Staffs, elders, stakeholders, legislators, appointees, the youths, men, women, children and his Amiable Wife and all that in one way or the other made the project a success.
He went on to make it known that the “UNBEATABLE AYADE MULTI-PURPOSE HALL” is for the use of the entire Bekwarra people irrespective of party or community differences.
