The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Barr. Godwin Offiono aka Goffio has been declared winner of the 2023 Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, House of representatives election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for polling the highest number of lawful votes.
Barr. Offiono was declared winner after polling a total of 36,642 votes against his closest opponent and Incumbent HoR member, Jude Ngaji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with 32,964 votes.
While addressing press men, The House of representatives member-elect, expressed his happiness and gratitude to the constituents of Ogoja/Yala and leaders of the Party, for their total support for him throughout the electioneering period most especially on election day. He promises to represent the Constituency with humility, transparency, accessibility through human capital and infrastructural development and other incentives capable of keeping the people Prosperous, united and happy.

Barr. Goffio was thereafter, accompanied by mammoth crowd of constituents to his Okpa-Oloko, Yala LGA residence where he hosted them to a light refreshments featuring traditional dancers, music and lot more.
