It is with immense gratitude and pleasure as we express our joy for a dream come true.
It has been several tortuous hours and sleepless nights of prayers, strategic planning, campaigns, and dogged execution of our electoral masterplan.
It is only necessary that we thank God Almighty and the brilliant electorates in Northern CR who in unison stood up against emasculation of all the dreams and yearnings of democrats and good spirited leaders of thought and citizen of Cross River North. Again, the outcome of this election is indicative that “the power of incumbency” was a psychological manipulation of citizens’ right to electoral franchise. Now we know, power rest not with the incumbent but with the people at all times and whoever they pleases, they give!
This victory is an indication that we are a disciplined people. So, we must maintain the resolve to remain united and focused at all times against suffocation, intimidation and attention diversion of our oneness as a Senatorial District, going forward.
While we celebrate our electoral victories, we must remain sober in celebration, noting that the long walk to keeping our people united must not be consumed by parochial and primordial considerations.
As we await the next development in days ahead, we implore us to stay dogged, calm, focused, and eternally vigilant and join us to effect the change at the state level. As to the undecided citizens, the outcome of the national election should give you enough faith in joining the people movement to liberation and remaining unconquerable by the establishment. Please join us!
