Cross River North Senator-Elect and Senator Representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe has facilitated the installation of Solar powered street lights in a bid to lighten up dark spots in Mbube, Ogoja Local Government Area of Cross River State.
The lawmaker, in his drive to spread the dividends of democracy across the Senatorial District has light-up Mpam Bentem and Bekwel (Ekumtak), Abuekpo and Mpi Irruan (Idum), Ekwaraka and Bini (Nkim) as well as Benkpe Communities.
The project is primarily meant to increase social and economic opportunities, thereby reducing criminal activities in various benefitting communities of the LGA.
The Senator further urged Community leaders and residents to take ownership of the project and other government infrastructures to prevent vandalism.
