The State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC Cross River State, Alphonsus Ogar Eba Esq has congratulated the newly sworn-in Governor of Cross River State, Sen Prince Bassey Otu, and Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Peter Odey, on their victory and successful inauguration on May 29.
Eba who was elated that the Governor was elated on the platform of the APC with massive votes from the great and good people of Cross River State, said the State would be galvanized for another phase of development and all the people would share in the coming prosperity.
According to the APC chairman, the people of Cross River State will experience good governance and given a voice in the governance process.
He said: “We congratulate the newly sworn-in Executive Governor of Cross River, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, and the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt Hon Peter Odey, on your successful inauguration on May 29.
“We see your swearing in as divinely ordained and destined, and so we give God the glory for a successful inauguration ceremony. To God be the glory. Today is a divine product of our political evangelism.
“With your inaugural speech the people of Cross River State are anxious and desirous to see a new phase of massive development in all fronts, which we believe you have the capacity to deliver to meet the aspirations and yearnings of the people.
“We are assuring you that the party is solidly behind you and will cooperate with no to ensure the best is given to the people as you are a progressive who believes in the progress and prosperity of the people of Cross River State whom you have pledged to serve according to your capacity without partiality.
“The All Progressives Congress, APC, is firmly entrenched in Cross River State now but it will be a Government for everyone irrespective of political parties divide.
However, he (Eba) assures the people that there won’t be any form of discrimination by the Otu-led administration, therefore called on the people irrespective of their political inclinations to support the Otu-led administration.
“Please, I call on everyone to pray for the new Government. Let us come together and work for the success of Cross River State because we are all stakeholders and there is no other State we can call our own except this. It is time for work and development, and so your valuable contributions will help us achieve the Cross River we desire”, he added.
