The Senator representing Cross River Southern Senatorial District , Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Jnr, on 14th November, 2023 participated in the inaugural Senate Committee on Customs and Tariffs meeting.
Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi (MFR), the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs Service, and his team presented the performance and activities report of the Nigerian Customs Services.
This meeting was a great opportunity to identify the challenges of the Customs Service and proffer solutions on how they could better achieve their mandates of Curbing Smuggling, facilitating trade and generating revenue for the Federation.
