The CEO of LubX Engine Oil, Hon. Barr. Koko Dan has been named winner of the First Baba Isa Awards for influence in Business/entrepreneurship category. The business mogul was named winner after securing 10 votes and defeating 5 other contenders, as announced on the facebook handle of First Baba Isa, the organizer of the awards.
In his response, Koko accepted the awards and gave inspiring steps how LubX came about and how far the company has gone globally. He also announced the donation of 500, 000 naira to support and encourage further identifiable startup opportunity.

Yesterday evening a friend of mine called my attention to my nomination and that of my fellow startups in the contest.
What is lubx?
My company Lubx is a limited liability company. A lubricant manufacturing company with its headquarters in Germany covering Europe and the Americas, it’s sister plant is in the UAE covering the services of Africa-Asia and the Middle East.
In west Africa its operation is headquarter Nigeria with operation rights covering all the 17 west African countries. A fortnight ago we secured expansion operations covering the central Africa. In Nigeria we have our showroom in Gwarinpa showcasing the six brands of products currently licensed by the Standard organisation of Nigeria. We have products warehousing located in Lagos-Abuja and a wholesale hub opening up in kano, kaduna, FCT, Porthacourt and Asaba.
We currently licensed 108 distributors across West and Central Africa and Nigeria.
